525grams per square metre, 100% cotton terry

Most towels are woven from tightly twisted yarn: strong, but stiff at first. Ours use zero-twist cotton: the fibres are left loose, so each loop opens up, feels soft against skin and lets air through to dry.

At 525 grams per square metre, they’re full enough to feel substantial without taking all day to dry.

Honest note: a little lint in the first few washes is normal with zero-twist cotton. It settles quickly. Skip fabric softener; it coats the loops and makes them less absorbent.

I started Hopefield because I wanted towels I’d be glad to put in my own bathroom, at a price that made sense.

We work with one mill in Pakistan and order one container at a time. This year’s crossed from Karachi to Saint John, came by rail to Toronto, and is now stacked in Breslau, Ontario, where I pack every website order myself.

There are two towels, both premium: Zero Twist and Hybrid. Seven colours. Four sets. That’s the whole range, and I’d rather keep it small and get it right.

Which one should I pick? Both are 525 GSM, 100% cotton. Zero Twist is our softest and most airy. Hybrid adds twisted yarn for a little more body and structure. Most people choose by colour.

What’s in the set of 6? Two bath towels, two hand towels and two washcloths in one colour. Zero Twist: 27 × 54, 16 × 28 and 13 × 13 in. Hybrid: 27 × 54, 16 × 26 and 12 × 12 in.

Why is there lint at first? Zero-twist cotton has loose fibres. A little lint in the first few washes is normal and settles quickly.

How do I wash them? Warm with like colours, tumble dry low or line dry. No fabric softener, no chlorine bleach.

Will the colour match the photos? Screens differ, so a colour can look slightly different in person. If it’s not what you expected, return it unused within 30 days.

How much is shipping? Free across Canada on orders over $75. Below that, $9.95 flat. Orders ship from Breslau, Ontario.

Can I return them? Yes, unused towels within 30 days. Personalized towels can’t be returned unless they arrive damaged or we made a mistake.

What are they made of? 100% cotton terry, 525 GSM, woven in Pakistan.
